Katie loves coffee, thrives through the success of our coworking community, and does everything in her power *cue light saber sound* to make people’s workday happier and productive.

That’s right, VIBE-ristas. We have evolved from the traditional “barista” roles to more accurately focus in the coffee culture experience. Our vibe-ristas are expertly trained brewologists that play a critical role in creating an experience that provides knowledge, ambiance, hospitality and specialty coffee of course!
We’ve designed our space to embody everything that makes this city modern, progressive and with an up-and-coming coffee culture that may just turn Ankeny into a must-experience coffee and coworking scene.

When we started this venture, we put all the business puzzle pieces together, and only one thing remained: The Name! In fact, the coffee shop came into our business model very late in the game, as we were tackling the “Besides an amazing space, what brings together a community of modern professionals, entrepreneurs, creative minds, and doers?” Well, the best tasting coffee of course! ☕😎
We knew that coffee needed to be part of it, but how? How could we create a brand that represented coffee culture with an innovative edge? So, after some intense brainstorming sessions, we got inspired by the story of Jack and The Beanstalk and an idea popped up: what would it look like if there was such a thing as a “magical” Coffee Bean? One with the power to unleash innovation magic, supercharged productivity, and a trendy vibe? — It would look like a vibrant BLUE BEAN.
